Since I was a young girl, I always dreamed of finding my true soulmate.  There were always songs, movies, and my parents that led me to believe that love is truly a wonderful feeling to have.  Never in my wildest dreams did I understand that love can be so complicated and yet so simple.

Now I am all grown up and even though I still have the same perspective of what love is, I always find it to be so confusing.  I never doubted love, what I doubted was myself.  As I became an adult I have come to realize that love starts with oneself and then it can be given and shared with someone else.  We tend to listen to other opinions, what it should be and/or what it should be like, never truly understanding that it comes from within.

We tend to blame others for not ever finding love, but I have learned that love is always there and never leaves us.  Love can be mature, immature, funny, scary, intoxicating, and simply peaceful.  However, it is so hard to pick which one it truly can be because we must first know ourselves before we can truly know what love is.

Does anyone know what the true meaning of love is or will it forever be a question that will always be unanswered?

That's my thought for today?  Any feedback?

i've bin involve with my bestfriend for a little over a year now.. he always used to say "your like my sister"
and eventually.. we felt the same for eachother.. i love him.. very much.. if i could describe the love i have for him..
i honestly wouldn't be able to give you a definition.. love is, free? ..out there.. unexpected..fullfilling.. caring,,thoughtful..blind
i couldnt see myself without him now.. thing wouldnt be the same.. but to give you a answer on what love is? from who personally loves some one.. i couldn't reeeeally give you a answer.. you just need to find the one who you can be completely 100% around.. and loves you for YOU..

I agree with you. But the best part of love is that not only one person is the write one for us. That's the beauty of it. You can improve and better yourself at a thousand things that you can do to and with your lover and when he will come you will be able to offer him something unseen and unheard.
